The Code of Conduct describes the values and principles of conduct whose letter and spirit must be observed by all of us – Executive Board, managers, and all employees – and that Schaeffler also expects its business partners to follow.

]]> <![CDATA[Statement on respect for human rights]]> This Human Rights Statement is a central component of Schaeffler’s Human Rights Strategy. Respect for human rights and the related environmental rights is an integral part of Schaeffler’s corporate governance. The company is committed to respecting these rights along the value chains and working towards their implementation in global supply chains.

The Human Rights Statement was developed to fulfil the company's responsibility and represents Schaeffler's holistic and strategic approach to respecting human rights and related environmental rights. In particular, it complements Schaeffler’s Corporate Code of Conduct as well as the Schaeffler’s Supplier Code of Conduct.

Schaeffler is currently conducting an ad hoc risk analysis regarding the integration of Vitesco Technologies. The results will be considered in the next Human Rights Statement.

]]> <![CDATA[Sustainable Procurement Policy]]> Sustainability is an integral part of Schaeffler’s DNA. This includes identifying, managing, and optimizing the ecological, social, and economic effects in the supplier network. Supplier management now has to fulfill more than just the requirements of a globally interconnected world. Modern technologies require raw materials, which frequently come from critical regions of the world. Climate change and the increasing scarcity of resources are also affecting our supply chains. In this context, we have made it a key objective to achieve climate neutrality in our supply chains by 2040. As an intermediate objective, we want to achieve a 25 % reduction in the CO₂ emissions in our supply chains by 2030.
